In the past, I have created some works
in clay, plaster of Paris, wood and metal.
I have also drawn some ideas and many
of these creations have been lost in time.
I will show you what I still have
and I hope you will enjoy some of my ....PLAY
ANCIENT FLIGHT:
In all my metal sculptures, I would go to the local scrap yard and climb the mountains of scrap metal and carefully pick and choose those interesting pieces I thought I could weld into some form of work of art.
Ancient flight is my metal interpretation of a young Pterodactyl both wanting to take it's first flight while still being emotionally held fast to it's nest.
THIS PAGE IS NOT FINISHED AS i AM CREATING IT RIGHT NOW. CHECK BACK LATER.
LEFT HANDED WARRIOR:
In this metal sculpture, I try to convey the difficulty I experienced being a left handed child in a right handed world, while also dealing with the social stigma that a transgender child often endures.
OPIUS 1:
This was my very first metal sculpture.
I simply cut sections out of a 4 inch eye beam and welded them into this form.
OPIUS 2:
Again, I was just learning and experimenting so I came up with this shape.
STILL, in MOTION:
This was my 3RD. metal sculpture and I wanted to convey various forms of transportation that had been available, such as bicycles and trains.
I also hinted at future modes of transportation.
Can you spot them?
